101 zen stories

The "101 Zen stories"
has always been one of my favorite books: the simplicity and eloquence of those skinny little stories I have ever affected, since the first time that the book happened in my hands a summer day several years ago, when returning by train from Florence.
It has since been a faithful companion, both figuratively (because those stories can be read on many different levels) is literal, because I think it's the book that slips easily into my pocket by the traveler at the time of departure.

Men Groping On The Train

a menu for an evening of Buca

Last Tuesday I finally brought the menu over to the good of Hermann pub La Buca (Pescia, PT), we have developed over the last couple of weeks.

is a collapsible menu

into three parts, A3, laminated to make it immortal

with customers more Maneschi. The work came just fine and I enjoyed a lot to do, because I had carte blanche and I could focus on a modern and vibrant, in line with a young and dynamic.

The photos above are of proofs ... some margin of errors have been corrected!
I developed all with InDesign, creating images in Photoshop (and export with transparency). Here is a screenshot of the working window in InDesign:

Many of the icons I designed in Illustrator. The signs of a "marker" that seem to be made by hand ... are just like that, with a tablet Wacom. The portrait of Hermann is my work with photography + traditional pencil, then inked in Illustrator and colored in Photoshop.
the pub, and formerly a flyer: all in the same style, which contrasts nicely with the' traditional appearance of the pub, but that aligns well with the character who runs it and most of the patrons.
